Proverbs 10:22 (MEV): "The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it."

There is no Prosperity Gospel. There is only THE GOSPEL, and the result of it is a prosperous life! When we pursue knowing more of God through His Word and through spending time in His Presence, we begin to prosper in every way! Paul prayed that we would receive a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know the Person of Jesus Christ more fully. That's because personally knowing Jesus doesn't just fill us with strength to endure this life, it causes us to delight in Him and we end up enjoying the fullness of life we have in Him. Psalm 37:4 says delighting in Him causes us to receive the desires of our hearts! The Bible says our lives become enriched by the Spirit of God when we choose to learn all we can about Him and how He operates in our lives. 1 Corinthians 1:5-6 in The Passion Translation says: "In Him you have been made extravagantly rich in every way. You have been endowed with a wealth of inspired utterance and the riches that come from your intimate knowledge of Him. For the reality of the truth of Christ is seen among you and strengthened through your experience of Him." There is nothing compared to knowing the Person of Jesus. It's a life enriched with His goodness, favour, mercy and love. Joy, joy, joy floods the heart of the person who seeks and finds the Lord as his essential necessity in this life!
