Psalm 107:7 (NLT): "He led them straight to safety, to a city where they could live."
Have you ever looked at a promise of God, or a direction to which He is steering you, and marvelled at how extraordinary it is? Every effort we put in to getting the job done can only take us so far; but God's ability is absolutely inexhaustible. As surely as the sun will rise and set, God will give you all the wisdom, strength, protection, and provision you need to see His perfect plan unfold in your life. The key is to follow only where and when He leads. The word led in Psalms 107:7 is translated ago in the Greek. It was often used to describe animals that were led by a rope tied around their necks. These animals wilfully followed wherever their owner led them. Lean in to the Holy Spirit today and anticipate His gentle tug on your heart, leading you step by step into the place of promise He has for you.
