Matthew 28:20 (NLT): “Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Knowing that Jesus is always with us instils a boldness to live victoriously in this world. All we experience and do while on earth can flow from our relationship with Jesus. Knowing His Spirit is in us and is constantly being a source of supernatural power and life, must stir a deep confidence inside us. When we walk into a room, the very atmosphere we carry from our spirits has the power to change the atmosphere around us. We should constantly have an awareness that God Himself dwells in us to give us authority over every work of the devil, and an abundant flow of love to minister life to all people. Knowing the Spirit of Truth is in us, positions us to expect and receive fresh revelation from His Word each time we give ourselves to studying it. Jesus impacted the world because He lived in the reality of knowing who He was, and the reality of what His Father spoke into His heart. He lived fully persuade that the Spirit of God would empower, lead, and control Him – to accomplish His Father’s will. And He did all of this through intimacy with His Father. He knew His Father was with Him. The same is true of you and me. Acknowledging Jesus is in and with us, and having His Word alive in our hearts, will allow us to operate just as He did when He walked on this earth.
