Jeremiah 1:5 (NKJV): “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

From the moment we surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, we enter into His kingdom way of life. We no longer live for ourselves. We belong to God, and live for His glory. The Bible says we are set apart by Him, to live on purpose for Him. That means He has separated us from the shame and disappointments of our past. He has also separated us from being subject to the moral and social standards of this world. We live according to a new moral code of life in Christ Jesus, and it’s found in the written Word of God. This way of life is excellent; more fulfilling and rewarding than any other. That’s because it’s supernatural, and impossible to do without our intimate partnership with the Holy Spirit. The more we yield to the work of the Spirit inside us, the more we stand out from the world around us. The Bible says we become beacons of light, reflecting the light and love to those who are lost in the darkness of sin and hopelessness. Understand, you are set apart for a greater purpose than pleasing yourself - you were created to carry and give life and hope to others, by the Spirit of God Who lives in you.
