John 14:4 (NKJV), “And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

In John 14, Jesus told His disciples that even though He was leaving the earth, to be with His Father in heaven, He was going to prepare a place for them, and all who will believe in, and follow after Him, in the future. He promised that He would come back to fetch us and take us to be with Him there - in His Father’s house, where there are many mansions. In the very next breath, He told them that this place He was going to - where His Father lives, they know, and they know the way there too! Of course, they had no way of actually understanding what Jesus was talking about - but we do! Jesus told them that He was the way to the Father! We are able to be with them, in the Father’s house, through the indwelling Holy Spirit - by faith! We know this is true because Ephesians 2:5-6 tells us that our spirit-man was raised with Christ, when He was raised from the dead, and that we are currently seated with Him in heavenly places! By the virtue of being born-again, our spirits were made alive in Christ Jesus, by His Own resurrection power! That same power, that worked in Him and raised Him up to His Father’s house and seated Him in the place of authority - high above every demonic rule or principality - raised us up with Him too! (Ephesians 1:20). Colossians 1:13 says, “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,”. Our spirits were literally, by the Spirit of God, transferred into the kingdom of the resurrected Jesus! We are in Him and with Him, where He is - just as He said we would be! We have been given access to all that is in His kingdom too! In Luke 12:32, Jesus tells us that it pleases the Father to give us what is of His kingdom - while we are still on this earth! In Matthew 18, Jesus explained how we cause what is in the realm of heaven, to come into our lives here. We are to call those things that are not, as though they are. (Romans 4:17). And we are invited to do this in the throne room of God - the place Jesus told us we know and come to through Him. (Hebrews 4:16). How do we do this? By faith! We believe what God’s Word says about us being invited to draw near to His throne, and we act on it! As you pray, imagine yourself being exactly where Jesus said you are - in Him, in the realm of the spirit - the place where the answer is already yours. It will change the whole dynamic of your prayer life, forever - because you are praying from His perspective. You are praying from the place of victory!
