John 14:20 (AMPC), “At that time [when that day comes] you will know [for yourselves] that I am in My Father, and you [are] in Me, and I [am] in you.”

Did you know that you are the product of your environment? You would be able to tell who I habitually keep company with, just from the way I behave. Jesus told His disciples that when the Holy Spirit came to live on the inside of them, He would reveal to them that they were now inseparably connected to the Lord. The more time we spend meditating on and imagining the reality of being in a perfect union and fellowship with the Lord - as the Word says we are - the more that union marks our lives. In fact, there will be overwhelming evidence of us constantly being aware of this gloriously truth. Jesus refers to this evidence as being fruit! He insists that the only way to produce it is through us being vitally connected to Him. That doesn’t just mean having a general knowledge of being born-again, and living a nominal Christian life, where we read our Bible and pray most days, and then just go about the business of life. No! Being vitally united to Christ means we are consistently acknowledging and reminding ourselves that we are hidden with Christ in God! (Colossians 3:3). And that the fullness of the Godhead dwells in us! Colossians 2:9 says, “For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].” Then verse 10 says this is our reality: “And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].” If we took time to meditate on these few scriptures alone - all day long - the reality of this truth would literally transform everything about us! Verse 11-15 of Colossians 2 explains what that transformation looks like! Every part of our carnal nature and its lusts are literally stripped off of us. Every desire for what is wrong, even ungodly company is completely taken away. The understanding of our authority over the devil and every demonic principality that would seek to steal, kill and destroy the blessing of the Lord over our lives, and the lives of our loved ones, is made secure. So, we live and move and have our being as people who operate exactly the same as the One, we are constantly aware of and are gazing upon! Let this be your constant reality today - your life will overflow with the evidence of the One you are constantly in the company of.
