Colossians 3:1 (NKJV), “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.”
 

When it seems like the pressure of this world is beginning to close in around you - don’t look around for anything in the natural to bring you relief - keep your eyes on what God says in normal for you! The wisdom of God, His peace that transcends all understanding, His joy that infuses you with mighty inner strength, faith that empowers your words to move mountains and release favour…all these things are normal in heaven - and they are normal for the new-man in Christ too! While we live in this world, we will constantly be bombarded with every distraction known to man, to try convincing us to accept our ‘old normal’ way of life. In this life, we must deliberately take time to use our imaginations to consistently see ourselves lifted up and living in the resurrected Jesus Christ! We must set our minds right there! Then, when the enemy begins to try distracting us to focus on the circumstances around us - we must keep resisting his advances and see ourselves seated in Christ in that place of victory - where every answer to every need already exists! The more persistent we become at this, the more we receive a stronghold of victory over that particular arena in our lives.  Establishing a healthy diet of what the Word says is our reality in Christ Jesus, sets us on a firm track of being able to discern what is right for us, and what is not. So, keep your eyes fixed on your heavenly realities and you will live that life of victory right here on earth!.
