Let the River of Revelation Knowledge Flow!

Proverbs 29:18 (AMPC), “Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]—blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he.”

The indwelling Holy Spirit is the greatest gift every born-again believer receives!  He takes whatever is of God and makes it alive to us. John 16:14-15 says, “He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you. Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.” When we open up God’s Word and come before the Lord expecting to receive a fresh revelation of the Scripture, and we are committed to obey what He reveals, that river of revelation will flow unhindered! The truth is, the more we act on the Word we know, the more revelation flows! If at any time you experience a dryness when you open the Scriptures, it may be a good idea to backtrack to the last revelation the Lord showed you to do. No matter how insignificant it may seem in the natural - know it’s very important in the spiritual realm, especially for the unhindered flow of revelation knowledge! I remember once being a little despondent when I didn’t sense God’s peace and faith flow up from my spirit while I was spending time in the Word. I felt strangely disconnected. At the time, we were walking through a trying time with some close ministry friends, which was troubling my mind. I turned to the Lord, asking Him to reveal what was ‘blocking’ that familiar flow of revelation knowledge, and He responded immediately. He spoke so directly and clearly into my heart, reminding me that I was carrying a weight that was not meant for me to carry. I was not walking in the truth of His Word, where He had taught me to cast EVERY care upon Him, and with a thankful heart, rejoice in Him. Such a little thing I had neglected to do, caused a hinderance to me receiving that full flow of revelation in my personal life. I quickly repented and gratefully cast every ounce of care over to Him. The moment I did, a spontaneous flow of His Word rose up from my spirit and I began to declare His truth with faith-filled words over the situation. The peace and joy that flooded my soul was so welcoming! I knew I was walking in obedience, and it was paying off big time! As you remain sensitive to hear from the Holy Spirit and do what His Word has taught you to do - your river of revelation knowledge will never run dry, and your source of peace and joy will be refreshingly overwhelming!
