Psalm 119:130 (NKJV), “The entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.”

The Word of God is alive with His Own Spirit! It holds His thoughts and the purposes of His heart. It reveals His character and His intentions concerning us. It is filled with practical wisdom that when applied to our daily lives, causes us to prosper and succeed in every arena of life! Jesus said that when His Word is continually living in our hearts, we can ask for anything, and it will be done for us (John 15:7). We also know that the Word of God that enters our hearts, and dominates our thoughts, has the power to transform our lives into the very image of the resurrected Jesus! (Romans 12:2). It enables us to have the same mindset as He does, to speak life and peace with heavenly authority - as He speaks, and to act in the same manor He does (2 Corinthians 3:18). The Word of God that dominates our lives causes His powerful force of supernatural faith to rise up from our spirit-man, and when it’s directed by our words - it has the power to heal and deliver! God’s Word does all these wonderful things, and many more - when we encounter and embrace its teachings and truths! Regardless of age or level of intellectual training, the Word of God, when received into our hearts will always work! It’s the posture of the heart that that allows the Word of God to gain entrance, become revelation, and do its supernatural work! Psalm 119:130 in the Passion Translation says, “Break open your word within me until revelation-light shines out! Those with open hearts are given insight into your plans.” Come to the Word with an expectation that God will speak to you through it today. Believe that you will encounter divine wisdom and guidance - because He has promised this to all who approach it with a heart to receive.
