Psalm 50:23 (ESV), “The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies Me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!”

When we are standing in faith, waiting for a promise from God to become our reality - what we do, and how we act in that ‘waiting period’ makes all the difference. Scripture tells us the Lord is perfect in all His ways, and as we keep ourselves in line with those ways, we will see every promise come to pass in perfect timing! The thoughts we allow ourselves to ponder on, what we choose to believe, the nature of our conversations, and the way we act - must be led by His Holy Spirit and His Word - not by our feelings or natural understanding. One of the greatest battles to overcome in this waiting period is to keep our eyes and ears off of every opinion that is outside of what God’s Word says about our situation. In Ephesians 2:5-6 it says we (our spirit-beings) are presently seated with Christ, in heavenly places.  Now, that is a place of victory, where the answer has already come!  So, to begin with - we must see ourselves, by faith, in the spirit - stepping over, from what is our natural reality, and into what is our reality in the realm of the spirit - according to God’s Word! When our focus is fixed on that - we begin to praise and thank God for that reality! If we discipline our thoughts and words to praise God Regardless of our natural circumstances, the power of the need becomes so much smaller than the power of faith that begins to explode from within our spirit man! That faith, mixed in our words - reaches right into the unseen realm and brings every promise right into the natural! So, while you are waiting, keep yourself aligned with God’s ways of faith, and purpose to continuously praise Him from the perspective of victory!  That will energize the powerful force of faith, and your confidence to see the Lord perform His Word in your life will be strengthened - carrying you right into the reality of every promise being fulfilled!
