Matthew 6:10 (TPT), “Manifest Your kingdom realm, and cause Your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is fulfilled in heaven.”
God has made His Son, the resurrected Jesus, to be head of His body, the church. He is the One who rules and reigns in our hearts. Since we have been born into His kingdom, we live by its ways and enjoy its benefits. In Luke 12:32, Jesus tells us that it is the Father’s good pleasure to give us the kingdom, which includes the entirety of its glorious supply. According to Ephesians 1:3, we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing, in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus. Does this heavenly supply of God’s kingdom include our physical and material needs being met too? Well, praise God, Jesus does tie His kingdom supply with them! Luke 12:22-31 and Matthew 6:25-34 is pretty specific concerning God’s desire to provide every physical and material need, so we are never in lack, in any way. The key to receiving His abundant supply to meet these needs is laid out plainly in His Word too. Verse 31 of Luke 12 says, “But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.” I love the Passion Translation’s view of this verse, it says, “Each and every day He will supply your needs as you seek His kingdom passionately, above all else.” So, our heart attitude towards the Lord and His kingdom is the requirement from our side. However, throughout the Word of God, in the Old Testament and New, a heart attitude is always expected to be demonstrated by our actions. James makes it clear that a person who does the Word is the person who truly participates in God’s kingdom and partakes of the kingdom benefits. Luke 12:33-34 tells us that our generous giving into God’s kingdom interest, stores up our heavenly account with treasure that will never be stolen from us or diminish in value. That heavenly account is for us to make a withdrawal from any time we need it. It’s a supernatural supply that will not just meet our needs but provide us with such a surplus of blessing that we can continue to be a blessing to His kingdom, and those around us. Luke 6:38 says, “Give generously and generous gifts will be given back to you, shaken down to make room for more. Abundant gifts will pour out upon you with such an overflowing measure that it will run over the top! Your measurement of generosity becomes the measurement of your return.” God’s kingdom supply is available to you - as you continually make your deposits, you will continue to see His abundant supply of return!
