1 John 2:20 (AMPC), “But you have been anointed by [you hold a sacred appointment from, you have been given an unction from] the Holy One, and you all know [the Truth] or you know all things.”
Praise God! As Spirit-filled believers we will always have His unction within us to know exactly what to do in every situation! It’s also by this unction that we know, by revelation knowledge and experience, the reality of who we are in Christ Jesus. We know what is available to us, from the rich treasury of His glory, which is His inheritance, in us! And we will know what we are empowered to do because of His exceedingly great power that is constantly flowing towards us, who believe! (Ephesians 1:17-19). It is a power that is immeasurable, unlimited and surpassingly greater than any other power or problem we will ever encounter! According to 1 John 2:20, the unction of the Holy Spirit we have been given, causes us to know all things. That means whatever we need to know to overcome every obstacle in this life and live in God’s perfect plan - we can know by the Spirit. What’s important for us to understand here, is that one of the primary ways the Holy Spirit reveals things to us, is through the written Word. He always leads us to the Word to find the answer we need. Praise God, we can constantly draw on the inner unction of the Holy Spirit to reveal the appropriate truth we need each time. As we seek Him, He will answer us. Jeremiah 29:13 says, “Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” When we pray in the Holy Spirit, listening intently for His answer to be released into our minds from our spirits, He will answer and direct us. If you are needing an answer from the Holy Spirit today, understand you have been invited to call on Him, knowing He will answer and show you great and mighty things, you were unable to know outside of Him. (Jeremiah 33:3).
