Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV), “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
Receiving anything God has promised us through the finished work of the cross, is not difficult to do. God is Spirit and He made a way for us to be inseparably connected to Him through our re-born spirits. This is where we are connected to the realm of His glory. The Bible says He supplies all we need, according to His riches that are in glory! (Philippians 4:19). 2 Corinthians 9:8 says, “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” No matter what the need, because of Jesus, we have access to everything in the realm of God’s glory through faith. Now there are obstacles to our faith that we must learn to overcome in order to enjoy everything that has been promised us. One of those obstacles may be incorrect teaching. Traditional, religious teachings often contradict the truth of God’s Word. They say healing is not for today, or it’s not God’s desire to see us prosper financially. Many people believe that poverty is a form of humility. These mindsets are opposite to what the Word of God teaches. He delights in the prosperity of His children. In fact, the Bible is full of scriptures that support God’s people living blessed, healed and prosperous in every arena of life, as a reflection of His good and generous nature towards those who put Him and His ways first in their lives. If it wasn’t God’s will to see us whole, healed, cleansed from sin, prosperous and completely redeemed from the curse - then Jesus would not have gone to the cross to secure all this for us. The reality is He did! Isaiah said Jesus was chastised for our peace. The Hebrew translation for peace is shalom. It literally means being in a state of wholeness where there is nothing broken, nor lacking, nor missing in any area of life. If you are needing to receive something Jesus has already paid for you to have, then know today that it’s His will for you to have it. Simply, with a heart full of gratitude, go before Him in faith, ask Him for what you need, reminding Him of what His Word has promised, and thank Him for it. Your faith will direct the flow of God’s power to reach into the realm of the glory and deliver whatever God’s Word has promised you.
