John 7:38 (AMPC): “He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.”

The Bible tells us that our new, re-born life is hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3)! In reality, we live in two realms at the same time. Since our spirits are one with Christ’s Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17), we are now in Christ, seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:5-6). At the same time, His Spirit indwells our bodies here on earth! Now in Revelation 22:1-2, and Ezekiel 47:1-12, we are told that out from the sanctuary, or throne room of God, (where we are seated with Christ) there is a flowing river of life. This river gives healing and restoration wherever it flows! Here on earth, our bodies are called the temple, or sanctuary of the Holy Spirit, and John said that from our spirit-man flows rivers of that same living water! Wherever you go, you carry the life-giving, restoring, healing river of God’s power! As born-again, Holy Spirit filled, children of God - we carry the life giving, healing power of heaven within us! The more we renew our minds to this truth, the more aware we become of that life and power flowing in and through us. That’s because a renewed mind to the truth of God’s Word causes the faith of God that is in our spirit-man to rise up strong inside us. Then, when we declare God’s healing power over our own bodies, or those we pray for, our words of faith direct the flow of God’s living, healing, restoring power, and wherever that river flows - it produces exactly what it carries! Understand today, whatever you believe to be true of yourself, according to what the Word says, becomes your manifest reality as you act upon that Word, trusting it to do exactly what it declares! We determine how deep and strong that river of life flows from us. So, meditate on the truth and yield to God’s heavenly flow, so the rivers of life are released through you today.
