Daniel 11:32 (AMPC), “… the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God].”
We are living in days where the world around us is beginning to collapse under the weight of wickedness, which is why the true church of Jesus Christ is rising up in strength and light to demonstrate the love of God and His power to save. We have a job to do, we must enforce the devil’s defeat and release the atmosphere of heaven, until we are taken out of this world, when Jesus comes to fetch us. In order to do this, we need to become skillful in faith. Just as there are laws that govern how electricity flows, there are laws that govern how faith flows. When we become masterful in using our faith to flow, the impossible becomes possible for us, and we are able to fulfil the purpose God created us for! One of the laws of faith, that cause His power to continually flow in and from our lives, is the fear of God. When we honour and reverence the Lord and exalt His Word in our lives, we are walking in the fear of the Lord. When we get to the place where we love and trust Him more than anyone or anything else in our lives, we are operating in the fear of the Lord. If we are constantly needing to deal with offence or disappointment from what people have done, it shows we have not come to the place where we have truly placed our confidence, dependency and faith in the love and faithfulness of God towards us. If we don’t have a fixed, unchangeable source of what truth is in this life, we will always be unstable in our faith. The book of James says an unstable man will never receive anything from the Lord, because he is double-minded. James 4:8 tells us when we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. Then, in the very next breath we are told to purify our “hearts” from being double-minded. The word ‘heart’ here is referring to our minds. We become double-minded, when we are not diligent to keep our thoughts aligned to God’s truth. Practice being skilled in faith by treating God’s Word with the honour and respect it deserves. Then your faith will work, and God’s power will flow, making you strong for His purpose.
