Romans 12:2 (NKJV), “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
There is tremendous power attached to a mind that is renewed to the truth of God’s Word! However, in order to fully grasp that power, we will need to willingly lay down old mindsets, and ways of thinking that are not in line with the Word. We cannot be double minded in anything. We must fully abandon thought patterns that cause us to doubt or become fearful. Any thoughts that lead us in a direction that is outside of who God says we are in Christ, must be brought into the submission of the Word. Only when we deal with those thoughts, can we fully absorb God’s thoughts and be transformed by them. As we renew our minds to the truth of God’s Word, and who we are in Christ, the nature and power that has been made alive and available to us - in our re-born spirit-man, is able to be expressed and released into our lives! A renewed mind opens up the door that causes that new life to flow like a mighty river, up from our spirits and into every area of our lives! It flows with joy and peace and the transforming power of faith! Nothing can withstand its flow! When we keep our minds renewed to God’s Word - we are able to know and discern what is God’s good, acceptable and perfect will for us. In fact, making the right decisions in life becomes obvious to us, when we have trained our minds to think the thoughts of God. Decide today to not be double minded anymore, but to make a choice to only align your thoughts with God’s. This way you will know which way is right and good, and as you walk in it - His good and perfect will is going to be manifest and made evident.
