2 Corinthians 5:19 (NKJV), “…God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.”
The God of this universe, the maker of heaven and earth, the all-knowing, all powerful, and all present One - the only True God, has extended an invitation for us to come into close fellowship with Him. Of course, this would not have been possible were it not for Jesus, who removed the unworthiness from us, and gave us His righteousness, so that we could be completely reconciled to the Father, without shame. This was done so that, through faith in Him, we could become skilled at living in an inseparable relationship with Him. God is the source of all things. In Him is absolutely everything we will ever need to overcome every trial in this life and live in His supernatural peace and provision. Faith enables us to draw from the unlimited supply of all God has within Him, and effectively apply it to our lives. Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Making the choice to accept the invitation to come to the throne of grace results in us first of all, obtaining mercy. The very first thing we receive when entering the Presence of the Lord, which is by His invitation, is His compassion and kindness. Not His disdain and harshness. As we wholeheartedly yield to His unconditional love, pressing in further to His closeness, we find His grace. That word “grace” in the Greek, is translated as His Devine influence on our hearts, that is reflected in our lives. This is the transference of whatever we need to receive from Him, being drawn up from our spirits, that are connected to His Spirit, and released and reflected in our lives. He is the source of the help we need. Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” The invitation is out, it’s our personal choice to accept it and respond to it. The requirement is faith, and the reward is Him. You have been given this wonderful gift of reconciliation to the Father - take it today and live in the benefits His Presence affords.
