1 Corinthians 14:2 (NKJ), “For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.”

As we face challenges in this life, whether it’s concerning our loved ones being saved, our children, our finances, our health, or any other area that needs a supernatural change - praying God’s perfect will over these things will bring that change. That’s because God always hears and answers prayers that are aligned to His will. Our prayers can be hindered when they are tainted with our incorrect motives or personal preferences that are outside of God’s perfect plan. Which is why our prayers must carry His exact will to receive the exact answer needed. When we pray in tongues, as our personal prayer language, our spirit directly communes with the Spirit of God. The Father’s heart towards us is so loving and caring, that He is fully aware of every need and concern we have and has already provided the answer for each. As we pray in our heavenly language, with our minds engaged in what our hearts are doing, our spirits literally pull from the well of wisdom and provision for each need, from the Spirit of God within us. As we utter the words, God’s Spirit speaks the answer through our words - releasing it so that the answer becomes our reality (Isaiah 55:11). The key is remembering that faith is the catalyst in the entire process. Faith operates the same in everything concerning the kingdom of God. It works by us believing and speaking (Romans 10:9-10). When we pray in the Spirit, we come into complete unity with God’s perfect plan, and remain aware of Him speaking it, by His Spirit, through us! What a thrilling concept! The God of the universe, creator of heaven and earth - speaking His perfect will in and through us! The result of this kind of prayer is nothing less than supernaturally accurate and effective!
