Isaiah 55:11 (NKJ), “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
If there are areas in your life that are not aligning with the promises of God’s Word, as a believer, you have been given the authority and responsibility to see them change. How is this done? By our words. Not just any words, they must be words that come from the conviction of our hearts - provided our conviction is based on faith. When we are faced with a problem, our minds will be filled with thoughts concerning that problem. The Bible says that if those thoughts are negative and magnify the problem, highlighting all the terrible repercussions that problem can cause - we are to immediately take those negative thoughts captive. If we just allow them to speak to us, they will multiply in intensity until all our emotions are involved, taking us down a spiral of worry, anxiety, despair, and defeat. So, we put a stop to the process, before it begins. We reject the negative thoughts and replace them with what God’s Word says about the situation we are in. As we meditate on God’s Word, we come into agreement with it and believe it. The Holy Spirit causes it to come alive inside us and it becomes real to us! That’s called revelation knowledge. This revelation knowledge releases the faith of God to flow up from our spirits into our minds. It not only replaces incorrect thoughts, but it also magnifies God’s thoughts, and as we pray them out - our words become God’s words! So, when we speak God’s words, from the conviction of faith, it’s the same as when God speaks. The Bible says those words will never return empty! They will accomplish what His will is. His will and His Word are the same thing! So, the words of God, released from our mouths, over the problem we face, will accomplish God’s will. Those words will go straight to the problem and prosper, or bring to pass, whatever those words say! This is how we see every area of our lives align with God’s will - we believe what His Word says, we speak His Word out, and we fully expect to see that Word prosper in the thing it was sent to change!
