Matthew 8:3 (NLT): “Jesus reached out and touched him. ‘I am willing,’ he said. ‘Be healed!’ And instantly the leprosy disappeared.”

Matthew chapter 8 begins with a leper suddenly approaching Jesus as He came down from the mountainside where He had been teaching.  Being a leper, it was unlawful to be amongst the people, so we can imagine the deliberate urgency in his address to Jesus. Without wasting any time, he prostates himself  before Jesus, worshiping Him, and says, “Lord, if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.”.  Of course Jesus wastes no time to respond either, He reaches out His hand to the man, assures him it is God’s will to heal and cleanse him - and the man is instantly healed as the leprosy disappears!  Many people, like this leper, have no problem believing God is able to heal, however they are unsure of whether He wants to heal them.  This is a common, toxic mindset that has sown seeds of doubt, hindering so many from receiving their manifest healing. The Bible clearly states that God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power and that He HEALED ALL who were oppressed by the devil. (Acts 10:38).  Matthew 4:23 says, “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing ALL manner of sickness and ALL manner of disease among the people.” Matthew 8:16 says, “When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed ALL who were sick,”. Matthew 12:15, Luke 6:19 give the very same account - Jesus healed every single person who came to Him to be healed - without exception! Even when He faced unbelief in His Own home town,  everyone He prayed for to receive healing got healed that day! Mark 6:5, “Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.” Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever! He has never changed His ability or willingness to see ALL healed!  He paid the price for our healing by taking every sickness, disease, and oppression from the devil onto Himself at the cross - so we could ALL be healed! Acts 10:34 says, He is no respecter of persons!  So if you are doubting whether it’s His will to heal you or not - doubt no more! He is willing - so thank Him for your healing today and BE HEALED in Jesus Name!
