Reflect Him

by Dr Andre and Jenny Roebert
Monday, 10 January 2022 | Reading taken from Acts 17:28 (NKJV)

Acts 17:28 (NKJV): "...for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, "For we are also His offspring.""

Reflecting the presence of God from our lives must be the ultimate goal of every believer. The Bible teaches us that God's Spirit dwells within us, and when we make spending time talking to Him, worshipping Him, and dwelling with Him in His written Word - His Presence flows stronger from the inside of us and begins to dominate our thoughts, wills, and emotions. The Bible likens it to an inner flame that is fanned to become a raging fire of His glory - burning brighter and brighter with His power and love. A beautiful truth is that the Lord is waiting for us to turn our affection towards Him, throughout our day and night - so He can manifest Himself to us and become greater on the inside than any problem or need we will ever face on the outside (1 John 4:4). The Word of God says He is jealous for us - waiting for us to spend time with Him so that He can demonstrate His goodness and kindness towards us (Ephesians 2:7). It's in these times of communion with the Lord that we are refreshed, restored, healed, strengthened, and empowered for life on this side of heaven. Today, make the decision to be uncompromisingly dedicated to His Presence, so it becomes all you reflect to the world.
