Luke 10:21 (TPT): "Then Jesus, overflowing with the Holy Spirit's joy, exclaimed, " Father, thank You, for You are Lord Supreme over heaven and earth! You have hidden the great revelation of this authority from those who are proud, those wise in their own eyes, and You have shared it with these who humbled themselves. Yes, Father. This is what pleases Your heart: to give these things to those who are like trusting children.";

We could spend countless hours reasoning over the meaning of scripture, attempting to solve riddles and parables with our own intellect. However, when we approach the Word with simple believing faith, humbly acknowledging our dependence on the Lord to reveal His truth to our hungry hearts, we will not be disappointed! In Ephesians 1:17 Paul says we can receive a spirit of wisdom and revelation, of insight into mysteries and secrets in the deep and intimate knowledge of Jesus! We can actually encounter the Person of Jesus in His Word, through His Holy Spirit. God has made knowing Him, through His Word, easy enough for any hungry heart to understand. As we seek Him and prioritize time in the Word, we find Him and are washed (Ephesians 5:26); renewed (Psalm 119:50, Romans 12:2) and filled with power (Ephesians 6:10). Not to mention - faith is built up on the inside of us (Romans 10:17). Today, you can encounter the Person of Jesus in His Word. Jeremiah 33:3 says we can call to Him and He will "...answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand)."
