Spirit Filled Life

John 8:29 (KJV): “And He that sent Me is with Me: the Father hath not left Me alone; for I do always those things that please Him.”

We can never overestimate how much it pleases the Lord when we keep His Presence at the forefront of who we are and what we do. Remaining aware of the reality that the Father, by His Spirit, never leaves us, makes doing His will natural to us. That’s because we are influenced by a living, moment by moment relationship with Him, instead of striving to fulfil principles on our own. Keeping our thoughts in tune with His, and obeying His lead in our intimate prayers – and  private and public conversations with others – always leads to doing what pleases Him the most. This is how we break free from living according to the confines of the flesh, and into living the life of the Spirit. This is how we live in heaven’s abundant supply. It truly is impossible to live in the spirit and be taken with lack, calamity or any evil thing. The life of the spirit flows with every good and perfect gift. It’s where we experience the fullness of joy and an eternal supply of God’s pleasures (Psalm 16:11). Choose to live a life of the spirit and you will not be bound by the limitations of the flesh.
