Proverbs 16:3 (AMPC): “Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.”

Some plans start off as great ideas and tools for the advancement of God’s kingdom; only to lose momentum and impact, until their fruitfulness is practically non-existent. According to the Word, we have been given the mind of Christ, and the privilege to know the heart of God. The Holy Spirit certainly speaks creative ideas and wisdom into our hearts and minds that will cause our plans to succeed and prosper in this life. The key is highlighted in Proverbs 16:2. It says, “All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits (the thoughts and intents of the heart).” We must be sure our thoughts and intents concerning every plan God gives us, continue to align with the His thoughts. That’s why we must consistently commit and trust every step of the plan to Him – keeping our purpose on track with His heart. This way, no matter what opposition presents itself along the way – we will have a steadfast, confident trust He will provide all the wisdom and resources we need to overcome and push on successfully. Whatever the Lord has placed on your heart to do, remember to keep your heart and mind in line with His purpose and instructions! Don’t be distracted by the opinions of others who think they know a better way. Remain steadfastly in tune with the Holy Spirit and He will see your work become established and remain successful.
