2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV): “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”

When we are in Christ Jesus, all the promises of God are ours to enjoy – right here and now. As believers, our part is to focus our attention on what those promises are and to come into agreement with them for our lives. Then, the way we pull those promises from the unseen, supernatural realm of heaven into our natural reality is by faith! While faith certainly means to believe – it has a very distinct language and attitude. The Word says we receive when we believe with our hearts and speak with our mouths (Romans 10:9-10). In other words faith has an action attached to it. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, tells us exactly what the action of faith is that attracts the promises of God into our lives: Rejoicing, praying, and being thankful – ALWAYS! These are all acts of our will that show the real state of our hearts towards the Lord and His promises to us. They are the tell-tale signs of a heart that has been truly transformed by the Word of God. When they become our habitual reaction at all times and in all circumstance, we will experience a lifestyle of attracting the promises of God into our lives.
