Stand Firm

Isaiah 7:9 (NIV): "...If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all."

What do you believe? What do you stand for? If you don't stand for something, you will fall for everything! Since faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, as Christians, we have no option but to stand on the authority of God's Word. It is the highest authority. When Peter walked on water, he wasn't just walking on water - he was walking on the "Word". Jesus spoke directly to him and said, "Come!" (Matthew 14:29). This is why Peter was able to defy the laws of gravity and buoyancy; the Word of God is higher than any law - it is absolute. Hallelujah! So when the devil tries to get you to believe you're not going to recover, or tries to convince you that you're a victim in this life, and all hope is gone - refuse to align yourself with his word over you! No matter what the circumstances around you, keep your eyes and heart fixed on what God's Word says you are in Him. He says you are healed, blessed and highly favoured! He says goodness and mercy follow after you, and all you put your hand to will prosper and succeed - as long as you keep His Word alive in your heart and trust Him completely! Stand on the Word of God, and you will not be moved or shaken.
