Ephesians 2:6 (NLT): "For He raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus."

According 1 Corinthians 6:17, as children of God, we are united with Christ Jesus. Since this is our reality, the scripture for today shows us that we are "seated" with Him in the heavenly realms. In Ephesians 1:21, we are told Christ is seated not just above but far above all powers and principalities in this world and in the world to come. This is so significant because it reveals that if Christ is seated far above all powers and principalities, we are seated with Him, and this is our present reality! No matter what your life looks like in the natural right now, we are instructed to fix our thoughts on the truth of God's Word. We are to allow it to be more real to us than anything in the natural, and have it build our trust in God as we align ourselves with Him. That means to thank Him for what His Word says is our reality and begin to think, speak and act accordingly. As you purposefully do this, faith will rise up inside your heart and you will begin to declare change to the things in your world, fully expecting the transformation. Remember Jesus said nothing will be impossible when we operate by faith (Matthew 17:20). So in the face of disappointment, declare fulfilment. In the face of sickness, declare health. Proclaim the truth of God's Word wherever restoration is needed and watch His Word go to work and produce life.
