Genesis 25:21 (NKJV): "Now Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived."

The faithfulness of God to honour His Word can never be underestimated or underrated. He always keeps His promises and honours His Word. He honoured it back then, and He does so today. That's because He is a faithful, trustworthy God, Who never changes (Hebrews 13:8). When Isaac prayed, by faith, God was faithful to fulfil the promise He made to his father Abraham. God is no respecter of persons; every promise in His Word is for His children to believe, receive, and enjoy. That's His everlasting covenant with us. Just because you aren't walking in the reality of His promise to you right now, doesn't by any means mean it's not for you. It just means you need to keep applying your faith, keep believing and keep praising Him for His faithfulness to see it fulfilled in your life! Don-t become distressed over what He has already promised you - instead shift your focus to His goodness and faithful character, and delight yourself in Him. Before you know it, peace and joy will begin to flow up from your spirit and flood your mind and emotions! That peace will guard your mind from doubt and fear; and the joy will give you the strength and courage to keep strong in your faith until you see every promise become your reality. Know this: He who promised is faithful!
