Genesis 12:2 (NKJV):"I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing."

Although Abraham desired a son, God promised him much more than just a son. He gave His Word to make "a great nation" from his seed. Then, God promised to bless Abraham and make his name great amongst the nations of the world! In the past you may have been taught to only ask God to meet your daily needs, but the Word reveals that God doesn't just want to meet our needs, He wants bless us with a life that exceeds our wildest dreams (Ephesians 3:20). He is Who His Name says He is - "El Shaddai", the God of more than enough. God goes over and above meeting our needs. He blesses and enriches us from the inside out to be used as instruments and conduits of His goodness to everyone on the earth! Biblical prosperity is not defined as "God meeting my need", it far exceeds that. It entails God causing our lives to overflow with His goodness, so we can meet the needs of others and make His Name great! Today, be careful to not overlook one of the many blessings God brings your way, and see them as an effective tool to demonstrate His goodness to someone else. It's time to get on board with God's purpose for you - to show the world that He is the God of more than enough!
