James 5:16 (NKJV): "Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
Did you know: prayer is what connects the natural to the supernatural! The Bible says Jesus often withdrew into a quiet, lonely place to pray. He understood and demonstrated how prayer is the key to access the supernatural realm and have it dominate and influence our natural world. Proverbs 16:3 says that when we pray and roll our works upon the Lord, He will cause our thoughts to become agreeable to His will; and as a result, our plans will be established and succeed. The more time we come into the presence of the Lord in prayer, we surrender our natural, limited thoughts and resources in exchange for His perfect, unlimited ones. Heartfelt, faith filled prayer is powerful. It aligns our desires, attitudes, beliefs and actions with God's. It establishes a deep intimacy with Him that causes us to take on His nature and see His hand effectively move in all we surrender to Him.
