Proverbs 13:3 (NKJV):"He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction."
One of the greatest gifts we've been given is the ability to speak words of faith that have the power to bring every promise of God into our reality. Those words of faith that produce don't just spontaneously come out our mouths though. They all begin with thoughts; thoughts that are based on the truth of God's Word. When we read His thoughts and agree with them, they become more than just good ideas. The more we think about them and speak about them with the Holy Spirit - they take root in our hearts and become what we believe. This is where those thoughts - which are essentially God's own - produce that spiritual force of faith inside us. Then, when we speak those thoughts from the conviction of our hearts, they aren't just the right words - they are words filled with power. The faith that's carried on them is what reaches into the unseen world and transports it into our reality! Remember to not speak empty words - it's your confession of faith that causes you to possess everything the Word of God has promised you.
