Matthew 8:8 (KJV): "The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that Thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed."

Never underestimate the power of your words. Proverbs 18:21 says that life and death are in the power of the tongue. Words full of truth that are backed by faith always produce effective results. The centurion recognised Jesus was completely submitted to God. He understood He had been given the authority to carry out His Father's will by just the power of His words. Did you know Jesus has given us that same power and authority to speak God's perfect will into every situation and see it come to pass? Ephesians 1:19 and Luke 10:18-19 tells us this. There is no time like the present to become intentional about the words we speak. Today, make the choice to only speak the truth of God's Word. Constantly be aware that as you do, God's wisdom and life will be flowing powerfully from you. You will become a formidable force against the kingdom of darkness as you enforce the devils defeat and advance the kingdom of God - one powerful word at a time!
