John 16:8 (NKJV): "And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment"

Jesus makes the convicting work of the Holy Spirit within us very clear. He convicts the world of sin by touching the hearts of those we witness to; compelling them to accept His unconditional love, and showing them they need a Saviour. He convicts their hearts by showing them, through us, that there is a better way to live. They can enjoy a life in Christ Jesus that is right and true, and know they are in right standing with the Father. Jesus said the third convicting work of the Holy Spirit is for judgement. He shows them we have authority over the ruler of the world, the devil; demonstrating he is already judged and condemned, and sentence has already been passed on Him. Today, be aware that you are a carrier of the Holy Spirit. Live on purpose, demonstrating His power that resides inside you! Be sensitive to His leading and let His convicting work touch the world through you, convincing them to accept His unconditional love and experience the power of His redemption.
