Acts 4:31 (TPT): "At that moment the earth shook beneath them, causing the building they were in to tremble. Each one of them was filled with the Holy Spirit, and they proclaimed the word of God with unrestrained boldness."

Great boldness to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ with passion and purpose burned in these early church believers. Even though they received violent threats from the authorities to keep quiet, their zeal to proclaim the truth completely overshadowed the price of persecution. How did they come to have this brave, relentless resolve? Each one was yielded to, and filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. We must never grow indifferent to, or underestimate the resurrection power of God that dwells inside every born-again believer. We live in a world that beats with a way of life that's completely contrary to the ways of God's kingdom. Without a continuous flow of Holy Ghost power flowing from His Spirit into ours, we will not be the unstoppable force that pushes back the devil's agenda, and enforces Christ's. Be determined to never conform to the ways of this world, but embrace the truth of God's Word every day, drinking deeply of the living water His Holy Spirit gives. You will be filled with the same powerful boldness of those early church believers that turned the world upside-down.
