Jude 1:20 (AMPC): "But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit..."

At times we feel an urgency to pray about a particular issue that's weighing heavily on our hearts, but we just don't know how to pray effectively for the situation. Thankfully, Romans 8:26 says in times like these, the Holy Spirit Himself prays on our behalf. Praying in tongues is a powerful gift every born again believer has been given. When we receive it by faith, and use it, it causes us to pray beyond what we know or understand. That's because we tap into the mind of God as His Own Spirit begins to speak His wisdom and perfect will from inside our spirits. The words we pray release His will directly into and over the situation we're praying for. While we pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit will reveal whatever we need to know or do in the situation. As we are quick to respond and obey Him, His supernatural intervention causes circumstances to shift for His glory. So pray in the Holy Spirit, tap into the mind of God and you'll speak His perfect will into existence!
