Hebrews 11:8 (NIV): "By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going."

When God called Abraham and instructed him to walk into his future, he obeyed immediately. Even though he had to leave all the people and things that were familiar to him, Abraham didn't hesitate to obey. He didn't have the internet to search the directions or details of his destination, all he had was God's promise to go on. Now that's faith! Can you imagine what would have happened if Abraham became double-minded in trusting and obeying God? He would have become unstable in all his decisions and missed his destiny. Many people want all the answers before responding to God's instructions. We want to be assured of certain things before we commit to His leading us. True faith is being so sure that God will honour His Word concerning us, and being single-minded to hearing His voice and following His lead without hesitation. We can fully commit to His ways and completely depend on Him to guide us each step of the way. Determine to hear His voice today; don't hesitate to take Him at His Word and be obedient to walk where He leads without delay!
