Psalms 27:13-14 (NKJV): "I would have lost heart, unless I had believed I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!"
God isn't confined to our natural world, or hedged in by its limited systems. He sees everything from an eternal perspective, always having our best interests at heart. That's why we can confidently stand believing His promises, knowing full well He will work all things for our good - because we love Him and live according to His will and ways. This confidence comes when we deliberately spend time waiting on Him. That means coming into His presence, opening our hearts to Him and listening to His voice. While we give Him our full attention, His Spirit heals, restores, energises and strengthens us. He fills our minds with His peace! Waiting on God is not a waste of time, but a most vital, and necessary practice He insists on! Make a decision to deliberately make a time each day to push everything aside and wait on Him - it's your vital necessity that leads you to victory in all things, all the time.
