Let Me See Again

Acts 9:17b (NLT): “The Lord . . . has sent me so that you may see again…”

As the Israelites were about to cross the Jordan River, they saw the waters retreat, allowing them to pass over dry ground. When they were ordered to capture the city of Jericho, they saw the mighty walls crumble to nothing. Unfortunately, the generation to follow didn’t care to know God or remember the demonstrations of His supernatural power for His people. The Book of Judges reveals this generation turning their backs on the ways of their predecessors, and choosing to do what was right in their own eyes. Just the same, we incur spiritual blindness as we became internally focused. Today, we can turn away from our self-centeredness and see the miraculous hand of God at work all around us.  Ask the Lord to open the eyes of your heart to see Him, and the world around you, through His perspective. It will empower you to move as one, with Him, to touch the lives of those who desperately need Him.
