1 Peter 4:10 (NLT): "God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another."

Did you know our very existence has absolutely nothing to do with self-appeasement, but rather the fulfillment of purpose? The Word teaches we are not of ourselves, we have not created ourselves, but we are of God and no longer live for ourselves or the gratification of our own desires, plans, dreams, or will.  The bondage of sin and its curse was a direct result of us rejecting God's will and following our own plans.  But He saved us anyway and empowered us to live free and full in Him.  He has given us gifts that enable us to flourish in His purpose for us as we serve others, under His direction, and motivated by His great, unconditional love.  Our gifts help us to become an extension of Him to a world that desperately needs a Saviour.  Today, don't delay in using every gift He has given you to serve others well. Be swift to obey the Holy Spirit and let Him work through you to love and serve others.
