John 2:5 (NKJV): "His mother said to the servants, 'Whatever He says to you, do it.'"

Are you able to trust God to the point where you can look past what seems logical and obey Him without question? That kind of trust only comes when we have learnt how to fine tune our attention on clearly hearing God's voice and understanding His heart, in spite of obvious distractions. When Mary told the servants at the wedding to be sure to do whatever Jesus told them to do, she wasn't being facetious. She knew that He was no ordinary man, and that everything He did had eternal purpose attached to it. To see the miraculous power of God manifest in our lives, we must be sure to hear, and do whatever the Spirit leads us to do. Our God is interested in every detail of our lives, and wants to see us be a blessing in every circumstance. When we stay attentive to His voice, we will represent His nature accurately, and carry out His will everywhere we go, and in all we put our hands to. Choosing to give the Lord centre stage of our everyday lives places us in the perfect position to step in and stay in harmony with Him. There is no telling the wonderful things we will see and experience when we choose to listen to His voice, and do exactly what He leads us to do.
