Testify!

by Dr Andre and Jenny Roebert
Tuesday, 20 August 2019 | Reading taken from Revelation12:11 (NIV)

Revelation 12:11 (NIV): "And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die."

Every time we tell others about the good things the Lord has done, we release His supernatural Presence into the midst of our conversation. That's because testifying of God's goodness is the same as praising Him from the depth of our hearts; and we know He inhabits and is enthroned in our praises! Since Holy Spirit power is released and activated when we testify, we can expect Him to use those words to touch those who are hearing us in a most significant way. That's called the grace of God at work. The Greek translation for grace is God's divine influence upon a soul that is reflected in a life. That's why our testimony is such a powerful witnessing tool; we literally set the Presence and power of God to work in the lives of people who hear us brag on our God! When we exalt Him, He draws all men to Himself (John 12:32). What's more, where God is exalted, the enemy is defeated! Winning the lost to Christ becomes effortless for the believer who sincerely and boldly testifies of God's goodness to others. Don't allow the devil to trick you into being silent - you become the most dangerous person on the planet to him when you open your mouth and boldly declare what God has done for you!

Live Full

John 14:23 (AMPC):“Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.”

What could be greater than God the Father, and His Son making their home in us through the Person of the Holy Spirit? As we open our hearts to Him, the Spirit of God pours His unconquerable love into us, causing it to overflow so people can recognise Him in us. Can you imagine people looking at you and seeing more of God’s beautiful nature, than anything else? Our spirits possess everything that belongs to God. If we truly had a revelation of this, we would stop striving for what we already have in Christ. The Word promises we have been given everything that pertains to life and godliness; that we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing; and that we are co-heirs with Christ. It even says we have the mind of Christ, and know the intents of His heart. These things become our reality when we love Him, and keep His Word. Embracing God in His Word not only sets us free, it keeps us free to know Him and reflect all He has already given us. Let the world recognise Jesus in you, as you live full in Him.
