Proverbs 4:7 (AMPC): "The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom (skilful and godly Wisdom)! [For skilful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation)."
There is a story about Gary Player, a legendary golf player, who had managed to sink a tricky shot from a very difficult position. As he walked to the green to retrieve the ball, he overheard someone saying it was a lucky shot. Apparently, he turned to the man and said: The more I practice the luckier I get!" Consistently operating in Godly wisdom is something we can do when we choose to put the time and effort into meditating on His Word and trusting the Holy Spirit to teach us how to understand it, and practically apply its wisdom to our lives. The more diligent we are in seeking His will and putting it into action, the more we will walk in the benefits that wisdom brings. Choose to make godly wisdom the principle thing in your life, every day, and you will see how it will prosper you in all your ways.
