Hebrews 8:6 (NLT): "But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for He is the One who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises."

Through Jesus' death, burial and resurrection, He ushered in a better covenant, based on better promises. One of the greatest mistakes we can make as born again, Spirit-filled believers, is to live our lives as though there is no new covenant. If Abraham and his descendants enjoyed the blessing of God upon their lives - seeing His hand of provision and protection - how much more should we not live a life of experiencing His abundance and power to overcome all obstacles? Since the Spirit of God now resides inside us, we have limitless access to His grace and power; and as we surrender to His Lordship, He transforms and empowers us to not only experience His goodness, but have it manifest through us to others, everywhere we go. Today, choose to embrace this new covenant you have in Christ Jesus and purpose to carry and influence your world with this extraordinary blessing that lives inside you.
