Faith for Healing

Isaiah 53:5 (AMPC): "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole"

As believers, we have been given the authority to overcome sickness and disease, because of the finished work of the cross. In Matthew 10:1, Jesus empowered His disciples to cast out all unclean spirits, and to heal ALL kinds of sickness and ALL kinds of disease. However, the Bible does mention things that will prevent our healing. If we are deliberately living in sin, or we are harbouring any grudges or unforgiveness towards anyone, our faith to receive our healing becomes inoperative. Until we repent, set those things right and forgive, our healing will not take place. If you are standing in faith for your physical healing, know Jesus has secured it for you. Ask the Lord to reveal if there is any unforgiveness in your heart, or sin that you have not yet placed under the blood, and deal with it swiftly. Then, reach out in faith and trust the Lord for His healing power to make you whole.
