John 8:31-32 (NIV): "To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching,you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.""

Today, how do you see yourself? Have the habits and traits of your past tried to dominate your life making you feel unworthy and inadequate for God's service? Then it's time to take a look at what God's Word says about you. According to 1 Corinthians 6:17, you are one Spirit with God! That means you have all the power you need to overcome any work of the flesh inside of you. The problem is that the issue you're dealing with has become bigger to you than your faith, and the fruit of the Spirit that resides in you. In other words, you can't see yourself as someone who has overcome this problem, because it's become the focus of your attention. Jesus has already dealt with your sin. He has overcome it for you and washed you clean of it. It has no power over you at all. Because you have decided to turn your back on sin, you can stop falling into those bad habits of thinking and acting by seeing yourself as God does. Let His truth set you free as you feed your thoughts on what it says about you. This is how you kick those feelings of failure and bondage, and enjoy victory and freedom from sin!
