Faith Doesn't Cave Under Pressure

2 Corinthians 4:8 (TPT): "Though we experience every kind of pressure, we're not crushed. At times we don't know what to do, but quitting is not an option."

When we become more mindful of the Holy Spirit and His power to strengthen and equip us for victory that's inside of us, than the pressure that is against us, we rise above it! Pressure is designed to tempt us to quit. But faith refuses to let us do that! Jesus was a perfect example of allowing His faith to rise up strong inside of Him in the face of pressure. When His close friend, Lazarus, died, the Bible says He was deeply upset.Martha chided Him for not responding in time, insinuating that if He had come sooner Lazarus would still be alive. Obviously this only added pressure to the grief Jesus was already feeling. But instead of giving in to the pressure, Jesus consulted His Father, stepped out in faith and declared life over His friend. You can be sure pressure will come, but like Jesus, you don't have to respond to it. Instead, see what God's Word has to say about your situation, let it fuel your faith and then declare its truth over the circumstance. This way pressure will cave to your faith, not the other way around.
