Colossians 2:20 (NKJV): "And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

As born again believers, we don't have to be influenced or ruled by the culture or belief systems of this world. According to the Word the nature of Christ is in us, spiritually connecting us to a different culture - the culture of heaven. Even though we are in this world, we aren't of this world. We have a different perspective, we think differently, speak differently, and act differently. That's why we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We carry a treasure within us the world needs to know. It's the good news of the Gospel; the Living Christ, Who is the Saviour of the world. We aren't ashamed of this Gospel because it's the power of God that brings salvation to all who will receive it. As you give everything to have Christ live big on the inside of you - by increasing your time in the Word and surrendering to the Holy Spirit - each time you share Jesus, expect His power to back your words of faith and influence people's hearts with the atmosphere and culture of heaven.
