Supernatural Restoration

2 Kings 6:5-6 (NKJV): “But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron ax head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Alas, master! For it was borrowed.” So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float.”

Losing something is never a pleasant experience. Losing something which you borrowed is even worse. This prophet in training was not being careless when he lost his ax head – it really was an accident. Did you notice the panic in his voice when he lost that ax head? How do we react to costly mistakes we make? Elisha was quick to come to the rescue, and calmly and confidently applied his faith. Although we can’t control everything that happens in life, we can control our response. We can either react in fear or respond in confident faith. Elisha understood and had a revelation of his covenant with God, and the result of applying his faith was nothing less than supernatural. If you are spending time in the Word, you’ll know the supernatural resources you have available, including the authority to commission angels to assist you. By faith, nothing that is lost cannot be found and nothing that is broken cannot be restored - supernaturally.
