2 Kings 4:2 (NKJV): "...Tell me, what do you have in the house?" And she said, "Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil."

In this incredible story, Elisha finds a widow who after failing to pay her creditors, is about to lose her two sons. The only thing of value she owned was a jar of oil. Although that jar of oil, in itself, wasn't nearly enough to alleviate her predicament, in the hands of the Lord, it became a channel of abundant wealth that brought about her breakthrough. When she began to pour out the oil, under the instruction of the prophet, it didn't stop flowing until every vessel she had in her possession was filled. The money she made from selling it more than covered her need. You may feel your earthly resources don't amount to anything, but heaven knows no limit. Everything you need can be found in Christ. Honour the Lord with what you have, and by faith, you will experience how He is able to supply all your needs according to His riches in Glory!
