God Desires All To Be Saved

Contrary to all contradicting beliefs that God has only selected a few to be saved, Paul sets us straight in 1 Timothy 2:4 - God desires for ALL of mankind to be saved. In Matthew 18:14 Jesus says, "Just so - it is not the will of My Father Who is in heaven that one of these little ones should be lost and perish." And here's a scripture we should all be familiar with, John 3:16 which sates God's love for the world motivated the death of His Son Jesus, so that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life! If God only wanted a select number of people to enter heaven He wouldn't have declared His love for the whole world or promised eternal life to whoever chooses to accept His Son. No, when we were sinners, God made a way of redeeming all of us who willingly choose to give our lives to Him by accepting that His Son died on the cross for our sins and has a new life of faith and freedom in Him. When we do this, the Spirit of God Himself gives birth to a new spirit in us where He lives, and He calls us His sons and daughters. Galatians 3:26 says, "For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith." Today, if you are wanting to be saved and counted as God's own family, know this is exactly what He wants for you too. He gave everything to make this possible! Open your heart to Him now and say, "Dear Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God, and that you died for my sins and rose again on the third day. I believe you are Lord and I ask you to come into my heart, remove my sin and live in me. Fill me with your precious Holy Spirit, as I surrender my life to you now. Teach me to walk in your ways and baptise me with the power of your Holy Spirit. I receive you now, thank you Jesus. I am your child, washed clean by your blood and filled with your Spirit of peace and power. Amen"
